MISSION STATEMENT

Leadership:

Supports missionaries through Disciple Mission fund. Members go on mission trips.
Preschool
First Christian Church Childcare Center works with children from infancy to school age. Church also operates before and after-school program and summer program for school-age children.
Nursery
Available during services, ages 3 and younger.
PROGRAMS
Youth programs
Kid's worship, ages 3 to fifth grade, offered Sunday mornings during 8:45 and 11:10 a.m. worship times.
CYF, for ninth through 12th graders, meets 3:45-4:30 p.m. for bell choir rehearsal and 4:30-6 p.m. for youth group weekly during school year.
ChiRho, for sixth through eighth graders meets 3-3:45 p.m. for bell choir rehearsal and 4:30-6 p.m. for youth group weekly during school year.
JYF, for third through fifth graders, meets 3:45-5:15 p.m. for youth group and 5:15-6 p.m. for chimes rehearsal twice a month during the school year.
Shine Choir, for preschool through seventh grade, meets 6-7:15 p.m. Wednesday during the school year.
Vacation Bible School and summer camps also offered.

Al-Anon meets Thursday evenings.
SERVICES
Homebound services
Communion delivered to homebound members.
Other Outreach Services:
Supports Doorstep, Topeka Rescue Mission and many other agencies in Topeka. Tai Chi classes open to the public are offered in the church.
